These would be considered foster animals or animals you are holding for a friend who can no longer care for them. These are not personal, owned pets.
Since you currently have an animal you would like to adopt out through our rescue, you must complete the following Intake Request form by clicking on the "Add Intake Request" button and completing the form that pops up.

If your animal or animals are approved, we will be in contact to explain the One Time Foster Program in detail.

Responsibilities as a One Time Foster:
- Provide appropriate food.
- Provide appropriate litter.
- Arrange for someone you trust to cover any vacations or trips you may take.
- Provide fundraising efforts to cover unexpected or expensive medical care for the animal(s).
- Provide assurance that you are not intending to "Foster Fail" or keep any of the animals you are requesting assistance with.
- Provide assurance that your animals will not need to be transferred to a different home during their time in rescue. You must commit to fostering them until they are adopted.
  - We will consider exceptions for medical and other emergencies on a case-by-case basis.
Responsibilities of Saving One Life:
- Cover standard medical vetting of your animal(s)
- Provide adoption networking through our partnerships with PetSmart and Kitty Pause Kitty Café.

Quarantine space is a spot where the animal can be completely enclosed without interaction with other pets. It should be a room or space with a door so that germs from the new animal are not easily spread to other areas of the home. Bathrooms and laundry rooms are great spots, as is a relatively empty spare bedroom. It should be free of areas where the animal could hide and not be accessed by you, and should be free of potential dangers to the animal (no easily accessed electrical cords or chemicals). Kennels and crates in common areas are not quarantine spaces since they allow for the exchange of germs.
